About Me

Hello! My name is Kristen Manning and I am the owner and operator of So Fetch & So Clean. I have always loved dogs and I have been working with them for the majority of my life. Before becoming a groomer I worked as a veterinary assistant where I was introduced and immediately drawn to grooming. I received my grooming certification through Penn Foster University in 2009. I've groomed here in Salina at Petco, Salina Veterinary Hospital, and Endless PAWSAbilities. We lived in Topeka for a short time where I groomed from my home and at West Ridge Animal Health Center.

I promise to treat every dog in my care like they are my own and provide them with a home away from home experience every time they visit.

I am so incredibly excited and proud of my salon! The name "So Fetch & So Clean" was inspired by a popular song from 2000 by the band Outkast called So Fresh, So Clean. I wanted to do something different and original with the name and since music is a very important part of my life, it fit perfectly. My logo I created myself using my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Lucy as my muse. Anyone visiting the salon is sure the be greeted by her at the door.

The existing building behind our house was in terrible shape when we moved in a few years ago. In August 2024 we hired Renterias Home Remodeling to help us take it down to the studs and do a complete flip! Even though the bathtub was unable to be installed in the salon, luckily it's just a short walk  to the garage!  Trevor with Dynamic Plumbing Service did an amazing job tying the plumbing into our laundry room and a drain out in the floor.  My husband and I are no strangers to DIY home renovations and were able to do everything but the siding, drywall, flooring and plumbing ourselves. Everything in the building is new, including all the kennels, equipment and electronics.

My goal with the building was to provide my clients and their dogs with a salon that feels inviting and comfortable, and I feel that I have accomplished that!

More renovations to the salon exterior and an outdoor run expected this summer!
